Merry & Bright Trio..

Hello & Happy Thursday Everyone!
DT Theresa here from Theresa's Crafty Creations
and it's my day to take over the blog!!
YAY for me... 🙌

I thought I would show you a Set of
Christmas cards I created - I was inspired by
a video I watched of Jennifer McGuires -

Some of you know I've made this style of card before - Usually I make

it with a shape type of card - it's a card with a FLAT Back -
It's not your "Normal" Top folding type of card --

I cut my white Cardstock out 3x's (since I was making 3 cards)
The size is 3 1/4" w x 10" H (scored @ 5") so it can fold
My Kraft Cardbase is a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 piece
then my Red Designer Paper is 4 x 5 1/4

The stamped images are a trio
called Cactus Pine and Palm Christmas
which is a Victorine Original Stamp set

The Merry & Bright Sentiment I'm using
is from Raisin Boat and it's called
Let it Snow (9085-Z)

Both can be found easily in the
SumMore Fun Online Store

Here's the first one - I'm using Canson Watercolor paper
and my Zig Real brush pens
to color in all the stamped images -
The designer Papers are ALL Scraps -
Which is what I like most about making these cards

Here's the Fun Cactus card - I did use a small
stitched rectangle die, just to add a little extra
something around the images -- and then I
used a Stitched Scallop border die --
I heat embossed the Sentiment with some
Fine White embossing powder and then
cut them out with a small banner die --

And now the cute Palm Tree! I really think these stamps
are fun & whimsical - perfect to send to some in Texas
or Arizona or Hawaii! You know, those really nice
warm states during the holidays! LOL

This is what the insides look like
along with how these cards open! They are
top fold opening type cards, but smaller in size
attached to a regular sized card base -
I really Hope I made sense!!

I stamped all the inside sentiments with another Raisin Boat
stamp set - this one is called Festive Phrases (9310-Z)
and then I just added some border strips to each inside card
so they can match the outside of the cards --

The Perfect Tree

Good Morning and Happy Wednesday

Today is my day to take over the SumMoreFun Designs Blog Here's my inspiration for you using: Holiday Wishes
Are you all ready for Christmas? I know I am not.  As you can see I am busily making Christmas cards to send out to family and friends.

Card Recipe:
Loosely watercolored a Tree on Canson watercolor paper using Gansai Tambi Watercolors. I stamped the image with versamark and used white embossing powder and heat set the image. The stars were then stamped using Distress Oxide in the color Faded Jeans.  Both the watercolor layer and the patterned paper were cut using a Stitched Rope Nested Rectangle die.  The whole thing was attached to a piece of Neenah 110lb card stock cut to A2 size.

Snow Globe Fun Christmas Card

Snow Globe Fun
Christmas Card

Hey Crafty friends.
Amy here to share a little fun Snow Glob Card with you.
I used Victorine Originals Snow Globe Stamp, Let it Snow sentiment and the cute Twins stamp.

These two are so cute.

I stamped my Snow Globe image on white cardstock and cut it out.
I used a punch to cut out the middle, leaving enough to look like snow building up around the inside.
I then punched out the blue vinyl to add to the back.
Stamping my Twin images, I decided to fussy cut them out too and added them to the center.
I added a lil glitter paste to the bottom of them to make it look like the snow settling on the bottom before you shake it.
I added the Let It Snow sentiment because it fit so well.

Dont forget to join in our Mood Board Challenge going on right now.

It's A Polka Dotted Christmas

Hello everyone,
Happy Saturday everyone, Heather here taking over the blog!
I have been looking at this stamp from Victorine Originals and in my head I have ideas.... but it is making those ideas work that has kept me stumped, until I found this pretty Christmas paper in my craft room.  The greens and reds with the cream background just made me think I can make it work! So I pulled out a piece of red card stock and cut it down to 4 1/4 x 11" and folded it at 5 1/2" for a top folding card base, I then set that aside.  I then cut the decorated card stock down to 4" x 5 1/4"  and I found this pretty ribbon in my Christmas paper box and thought it would be the perfect touch on the bottom, so I took the three colors and attached them to the backside and twisted them and then pulled them across the front of the card and attached to the back, then I cut fun foam to go on the back of the card stock and cut a channel out for the ribbon so it would not push that part higher on the front.  Then I laid that down onto the red card base and set it all aside.  I then took a piece of matching red card stock and cut it with a die in my stash and took some Nuvo Glimmer Paste in Moonstone and used a snow stencil to add some dimension to the die cut card stock.  While that was drying I used my stamp platform and stamped the Polka Dotted Christmas Tree on vellum with versa mark ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder, I did this three times to make it very smooth and thick, then when it was cool I fussy cut the vellum tree.  I then spent a long time cutting small pieces of foam tape and attaching them to the back of the tree, I went around the small polka dots before I decided to use the rainbow confetti sequins and cover the polka dots where the vellum was showing.  When my red die cut piece was dry I attached it to the card base and then attached the tree and once that was completed I then added the confetti pieces in blues, red, green, silver and gold in random sizes.  I am so happy with how the card came out and hope you enjoy.

Tis The Season To Shine

Hi and welcome back. Lisa from The Relativity of Paper taking over the blog today with a Christmas featuring the Raisin Boat  Holiday Hang Ups Stamp Set. I love retro ornaments, so I had to have this set, so beautiful!

To create this look I used a stamp position tool, randomly stamping the ornaments in turquoise, gray and pink. Added fun foam to the white cardstock panel and layered on Raisin Boat My Colors Cardstock - Aqua Breeze. Finished off with a few sequins and shimmer gelly roll pen.

O Holy Night Church Card

Good morning!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here with you.  Today I am sharing this elegant O Holy Night Church card that uses Raisin Boat's O Holy Night stamp set.
I stamped the church with VersaFine Onyx Black ink and embossed it with clear embossing powder.  I watercolored the image and then cut around it with my electronic cutting machine.
The background was created with several colors of Distress Oxide inks (Fossilized Amber, Faded Denim, Peacock Feathers, Picked Raspberry, and Black Soot) on watercolor paper.  I added a piece of white torn paper at the bottom to resemble snow and die cut it.  The sentiment was stamped with VersaMark and embossed with white embossing powder onto the background.  The church was popped up with foam tape and lastly, I added Stickles on the snow areas as well as on the background.
For more details on this card, head on over to MY BLOG.

Here is a look at the O Holy Night stamp set:

Grazing in the snow

Hello Sharon here from Mollie Moo's Crafty Place taking over the blog today for the first time so please be kind.

I'm sharing a snowy tunnel card using Victorine Original's Elk Silhouette in the snow stamp

I stamped elk image twice using blue ink and added crystal glitter using a quickie glue pen to one make the snow sparkle. I then adhered this onto a card base. Using a set of scalloped circle dies I cut apertures from 2 snowy papers. I used blue card to make 4 concertina stripes, adhered 2 of these to opposite sides of my card base and added the kraft colored snowy layer. I then fussy cut (yes antlers and all!) the 2nd Elk out and turned him over, colored him black and added him to the kraft layer to give the original one a mate!

The blue snowy layer was placed over this using the remaining concertina strips to give dimension. I then decorated the outer layer with die cut snowflakes and the word Noel.

You can find the products I have highlighted on the Sum More Fun online store along with a huge stamp selection.

Sparkle & Shine

Howdy! Today is my birthday! You'd think because of that I would be showcasing something birthday... but I've never been accused of being normal, and I'm good with that! I hope that you have a wonderful day today!

I'm writing this in advance of my birthday, but at this time, I'm still optimistic that I'll be able to spend some time crafting on my birthday! Not going to lie (even if my husband sees this)  - I definitely took advantage of some awesome Black Friday sales to increase my crafting stash - stay tuned for new creations inspired by my fellow talented Design Team members! There's still time to get in on the Black Friday/Cyber Monday awesomeness over at SumMore Fun - 33% off EVERYTHING through Monday at midnight!

I love using glitter with snow layouts and cards. I just think it makes it "sparkle & shine" so much more! For this card, I used the super cute and super fun Raisin Boat Holiday Wishes stamp. Aren't those sentiments awesome?!?

Not going to lie, it seems kind of a waste that I only used this cute sentiment from this amazing stamp set, but I have plans for the rest of it! Sometimes, less is more; and I was afraid to overtake the simple beauty of this card if I used a bigger sentiment.

I started by dry embossing the white background of my card with this cute snowflake embossing folder. I dug through my stash and found these perfect metal snowflakes and coordinating brads.

I really like the divided look, where the embossing stops at the bottom of the card. The pink shimmer trim makes a perfect dividing element.

I used some blue cardstock as my background to tie the winter look together. I added my sentiment with pink ink and a little sparkle in the middle to finish off this card.

On those winter wonderland days when the horizon is covered with fresh-fallen snow, it sparkles out here in the midwest. This card makes me picture that natural beauty!

Thanks for checking out my latest card! Want more of the snow-covered thoughts? Check out our brand new Let it Snow mood board - it's a beauty! Join in on our challenges for a chance to win $20-$40 to the SumMore fun store!

Happy crafting!
